For more than 25 years, Bill Hartzer has helped businesses improve their online visibility, protect their digital assets, and navigate the places where search, branding, domains, and reputation collide.

He is the founder of Hartzer Consulting and DNAccess, advising organizations from startups to Fortune 500 companies. His work spans the intersection of search engines, domain names, digital advertising, internet infrastructure, cybersecurity, and online reputation management — a broad vantage point that lets him see issues others overlook.

Bill regularly serves as an expert witness in legal matters involving SEO, online advertising, web analytics, domain names, and digital marketing, preparing expert reports and explaining complex technologies to attorneys, judges, and juries. He is a frequent writer and speaker, and has been active in the search-marketing community since its earliest days — from the founding of DFWSEM to the board of the State of Search Conference.

Brands on the Ballot grew out of that career: decades of watching brands — and people — win or lose trust in real time, and distilling what actually separates the ones that endure from the ones that don't.
